Yes, you can use your Klarna balance when checking out with Klarna. For this, make sure you have money in your balance. You can add money from your bank account or with a card.

You can earn cashback on eligible purchases when you shop in the Klarna app. Once confirmed, it goes right to your Klarna balance. Make sure to activate your balance, so that any accumulated cashback can be paid out.

Refunds simply go to your Klarna balance—it's the fastest way to get your money back and the default setting. You can change refund preferences anytime in the app.

Yes. You can withdraw money anytime to a connected bank account held in your name.

The account is covered by the Swedish deposit guarantee scheme in accordance with a decision by the Swedish National Debt Office. The maximum compensation to each customer is 1,050,000 SEK (about 100,000€) and the National Debt Office will make the compensation available for payment within 7 business days of the date the right to compensation commenced. The amount of compensation payable will be determined by the prevailing exchange rate at the time that the payment is made. By way of example, the amount of compensation that would be paid today equates to approximately 100,000€ but this figure may fluctuate over time.
