Today we’re happy to welcome the team behind the Cookies payment app to Klarna!

The team at Cookies developed a beautiful peer-to-peer payment app in Germany that allowed users to send money without needing any banking details or TANs. By combining banking with social features and a user-friendly design, Cookies was one of the first finance apps to target younger users. It was also the first solution for near-realtime money transfers on the German market.

While the Cookies app was discontinued a little while ago, the talent behind it will join Klarna’s product organization as of December 2016.

We are very excited to have the Cookies team join Klarna. Their skills and technological assets will help us achieve our product vision during the coming years, and it will enable us to build even better products for our users.
