Bus will also educate consumers on influencer marketing guidelines
12th August 2021 Following the success of the Influencer Council earlier this year, which sought to create clarity around influencer and social media guidelines, Klarna has opened the doors to its double decker bus pop-up set in the heart of Manchester, creating the ultimate educational influencer experience.
Set in the city’s iconic Spinningfields, the 39ft Klarna-fied bus will bring Klarna’s new social media advertising guidelines to life through graphics, audio experiences and expert panel sessions with members of the Influencer Council for guests to learn whilst taking that all important selfie.
Not only full of Instagrammable moments inside and outside the bus including a sequined swing and a giant talking clam shell, some of Klarna’s top merchants will be there to give consumers the elite influencer experience. BEAUTY BAY will provide complimentary manicures, the Crep Protect ultimate Cleaning Crew will be on site offering free sprays and cleans whilst Forbes & Field will be creating picturesque floral bouquets for guests to take home, all free of charge.
The launch event kicked off with a DJ set from Charlotte de Carle, who performed the party set to celebrate the two day event.
The bus was filled with VIP guests including Love Islanders Georgia Steel, Molly Smith, Callum Jones and Scott Thomas partying the night away whilst also brushing up on best social media practice.
AJ Coyne, Head of UK Marketing at Klarna said, “It was fantastic working with all the panelists on the Influencer Council and we’re excited to bring all the hard work to life in our Manchester pop-up bus. Influencers are an integral part of brands interacting with consumers, so it’s vital that there’s no confusion on whether a post is an advert. I hope that through our immersive pop-up, together with our Influencer Whitepaper, guests will be able to experience the ultimate influencer instagrammable experience whilst also educating themselves on the best practice.”
All events are free of charge. The Klarna Bus will be open to the public from 13th-14th August at Spinningfields Square. Friday 10:00-19:00 and Saturday 10:00-18:00
