1. How come you signed up for Klarna Growth Award?
Above all, we saw it as an exciting opportunity to test our concept in front of a bunch of experienced business builders. It also felt great to be involved in a serious competition with other talented entrepreneurs. It's a bit of a weird thing to compete in, entrepreneurship, but it gives you the opportunity to learn from others' experiences.
2. What has Klarna Growth Award meant for you and your business?
Klarna Growth Award has meant a lot to us. Before entering the competition, we needed to put our business idea on paper. It forced us to discuss things internally so that people from the outside would understand. Looking back, that has helped us. Also, many doors have opened up for us and we have learned a lot, both from our mentors from the competition and through training from Nordic Ecommerce Academy.
3. Which three pieces of advice can you share with this year’s participants?
Prepare carefully, go in with a lot of energy and, above all, make sure to have fun.
4. What has happened since you won Klarna Growth Award in 2013?
A lot has happened, we have gained good traction on many levels. We have managed to expand our team with really talented people, both in sales and technology. This in turn is reflected in our services and the use of it, which is really fun. We have also received a lot of good advice from the individuals we came in contact with through Klarna Growth Award, which probably helped us avoid a bunch of mines.
