Go to the Home section in the Klarna app and tap on 'Loyalty cards'.

FAQ

Go to the Home section in the Klarna app and tap on ‘Loyalty cards.’ Choose from a selection of popular cards, or tap ‘Other card’ to add your own. Then, scan your card’s barcode, or manually enter the barcode number. And that’s it—easy!

If the card provider isn’t listed in the selection of popular options, you can add your loyalty card by tapping on “Other card.” Either scan the card’s barcode, or manually enter the details.

If the card couldn’t be scanned in a store, it might be that:

  1. The store’s scanner can’t read smartphone displays due to outdated technology. If this is the case, you can always ask the cashier to manually type in your card number.

  2. The barcode number is wrong. If the loyalty card is added manually, typos can happen. Please check that the card number within the ‘Loyalty cards’ section is the same as the one on your card.

  3. Additionally, some loyalty cards include a customer and barcode number. Please check which number was used when adding the loyalty card, and update this if needed.
